January


Here are some photos from when I went cross country skiing with my parents at the local mountain. I'm still in shock that I can do this again. It is so much fun! Greg and I went again for a night ski. Here are the pictures I promised.

I need to move out of my parents house. and i just found out....I AM!!! not only that...but I am moving out with three of my best girlfriends!!!
I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!

I am in Calgary (Alberta, Canada) staying with one of my best friends, Kassia.

Had my second dragonboat practice today...

It was tough!!! I really pushed myself and a couple of times had to take my paddle out of the water because I had to catch my breath.

I've just landed back on the ground after a fabulous trip to Ontario. My trip was packed with family, good friends, great conversations, beautiful weather, amazing students, surprises and a bit of complications.

Thanks everyone for the great song suggestions!! This video is taking longer than expected so thanks also for your patience. I can't wait to post it and show my real life family how awesome my internet family is. You guys are the reason I am here today, I could not have made it without your support....so thank you.

it is hot in the triangle..work was awesome today. had a comment from a parent that made my summer.

both my cousins spoke as well. they were elequent and brave, beautiful and touching. i can't imagine writing that speech. reflecting on the life of my father and what his life had taught me.

there has been lots of family time. my mum has chosen to take the advanced chemo. greg came home for 4 days and i ignored the world while he was here and it was the safest most wonderful bubble i've ever been enveloped by.
